What log is that? I don't know what they are or mean. Do you happen to have another pc to try it on. have you been shutting down the client and restarting it each time you have done something different?
I just got home, and decided to take another look. Then I thought, what else could be causing it not to connect. Then DUH! It hit me - the anti-virus. I opened up my AV console and see this message: "C:\\-qt.exe Anti-virus Standard Protection:Prevent IRC communication"
It's working now, but taking a while to download the blockchain. The blk0001.dat file is up to 178 MB, any one know how big an up to date file is?
Ok what I think is going on here is the UPnP or (Universal Plug and Play )feature may be disabled on your computer or on your router. First go to Windows Control Panel. Locate and click on the icon for Network and Sharing Center. In the left pane, click the link for Change advanced sharing settings. In the Network Discovery section, select the option for Turn on network discovery and click the Save changes button.
To re-enable it on your router go to Network and Sharing Center in your control panel and click the center icon here:
it will bring up the connected PC and your router, you can right click your router and choose "view device webpage" then you'll need the username and password (I hope you know what it is) lol and look for UPnP in there and enable it and save.
NOW!! I hope this helps.. (it better) But I'm thinking this is what could be the issue.
