This thread is a continuation from posts in Ideas Brainstorming.
I've started work on a Wikipedia Article for .
A basic outline has been drafted. Sections included so far are: 1. Summary. 2. Transactions. 3. History. 4. Development. 5. Exchanges. 6. Wallets. 7. Misconceptions. 8. See Also. 9. References. 10. External Links. If anyone has ideas, information, or references that would add value to the article, please post them here. Also, if anyone has already started work on a Wiki Article for , please let me know. I do not want to duplicate the efforts of others. This Wiki Article isn't something that can be created and published overnight (at least not by me). There's a lot of data gathering required and there are a lot of new subjects I need to familiarize myself with. One of the larger concerns will defending the Wiki Article against trolls and vandalism. I'll post progress on the draft here in this thread for comments and feedback as necessary. If I get stuck on something and can't find the info I'm looking for elsewhere, I'll post requests for help here too. Just remember, the Wiki Article needs to be written from a neutral point of view. Thanx for reading!

Possible additions to the wiki:
- active pools section - current partners/companies that accept NET as a currency
These are on the forum but wiki adds to the exposure in a more concise manner.
Good work towtol.

Am I correct in finding that started as MC2 in April of 2013 and has matured through NTC to today's NET?

Negative. MC2 was a different project by a different developer. In reality it never left the ground or became a coin. Our developers made a coin, unique in every way minus the name-> . The world is a big place and NET is obviously a great name and this was a fine example of the early bird gets the worm. However, at the same time you really cannot even say that since MC2 never became anything more than an idea on paper and on a forum. This is a very common misconception and I personally believe it has accounted for a delay in Netcoins overall growth.

I am seeing the misconception as I poke my head into different doors. is a great name and I wouldn't change it. I'll make sure that in the wiki stands apart from any others.

That will be awesome. Cannot wait to see the final product.

This is a very common misconception and I personally believe it has accounted for a delay in Netcoins overall growth. But the name itself is a keeper, something that will work bigtime in our favour as more joe public types join the crypto community

Yes we need to make not only the best coin but the easiest coin for the average joe to figure out. Less crypto jargon and more layman's term. If they can understand it will make them more apt to buy in.
