Let's get right into this, it is pretty easy.
Step 1. Open termial or connect via SSH if you are installing remotely
Step 2. Make sure everything is up to date, run these 2 lines.
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
Step3. We can now install some dependencies, run this line
sudo apt-get install build-essential libssl-dev libdb5.1-dev libdb5.1++-dev libboost1.48-all-dev
Step 4. Now to download the Client from github
sudo git clone git://github.com/netcoinfoundation/.git
Step 5. Now move into the Folder
Step 7. Build your client
sudo make -f makefile.unix USE_UPNP=
Step 8. Copy Netcoind to /usr/bin
sudo cp netcoind /usr/bin/netcoind
Step 9. Now let's make a . folder
sudo mkdir ~/.
Step 10. We can now make a configuration file
sudo nano ~/./.conf
When the terminal opens the empty window put this inside, remember to edit this with your own details. Just make a username and password and note them down. It's best to make your user and pass a random string.
rpcuser=A long user name here!
rpcpassword=A long password here!
Step 11. Lock down your config file with
sudo chmod 600 ~/./.conf
Step 12. Start her up with
sudo netcoind -daemon
You can now check everything is okay and see if it is syncing with
sudo netcoind getinfo
You can see the balance there but you could also use
sudo netcoind getbalance
You could find out your receiving address with
sudo netcoind getaccountaddress “”
