Hi guys, so the past few days I have been looking into knocking up an android wallet for , I figured "how hard can it be?"... Well turns out, pretty damn hard! lol...
I mean so far I figured out we'll need a netcoinj first... netcoinj could be forked from frankoj or megacoinj as both of these coins use the KGW. The "j" denotes that this is a java build of . I don't fully understand what it is for just yet, but I know it will make it possible to store a portion of the blockchain on ones mobile device. If you wanted to read up on it then you can look into bitcoinj, which is of course where it all started.
I have tried to build bitcoinj, I installed "maven" properly and have it working in command prompt, but when I use the "mvn clean package" command I get a bunch of errors, mainly "peer died" and things like that.
Anyway, the crux of it is, is there anyone out there that fancies helping me figure this out? If so make yourself known and we can start piecing it together in this thread, if there is interest I can post the error logs and such here so we can all work on it.
Welcome to cryptomunity!
