Hi guys, I need to write a little guide for those unsure about how to upgrade to the New POS wallet...
It requires that you delete your blocks, if you know how to do this you need not read on, please remember though to backup your wallet before you begin! You should always have a backup anyway.
For those not sure here is a guide on windows...
In your current (old one) wallet go to "file" then "backup wallet"
Once it has been backed up shut down the client
Click the start menu
Type in %appdata%
Click the "roaming" folder
Go down the list to the NetCoin folder
Inside here will be a bunch of files, the only one that is important is the wallet.dat, leave that one there, and your netcoin.conf if you have one.
Delete the rest, other than your wallet.dat, please remember that this holds ALL your coins so you MUST be careful!
Load up the NEW client
On linux it is slighty different...
Begin by backing up your wallet in the same way as above
Then close down the client
Go to your file system, in your home directory hit Ctrl + h
Then look for the .netcoin folder, inside you will see the same as windows
Delete all but the wallet.dat and you can keep your netcoin.conf if you have one
launch the NEW wallet and you're good to go.
If you have any questions please let me know! If in doubt, just ask, we'll help you as soon as we can.

Great stuff! is there an ETA to a Mac wallet release and procedure for deleting blocks on OSX coming with it? It will be hard for me to do, not having a mac nor never using one But I will ask around and get it done, I have a few things I need to sort out first I'm sorry, for instance the block explorer is being a pain in the neck, and I can't seem to install the d on it... But rest assured I haven't forgotten and as soon as I am done here it will be my next task. Hopefully it won't be long bud.

That's good to know, I only use a mac so would hate to get left behind on the wallet. Thanks Admin!

Hi there Hopefully someone here will recognize me, I run a few MPOS pools and have been involved with a few select coins for a good while, I mostly lurk behind the scenes as I'm always busy with dev stuff (building an autoexchange system for NOMP, open source ) so I don't post too much these days. Anyway, I'm adding Netcoin to my multipool at multipool.fedaykin.us:100 (There's not much there as of yet, we're very beta and under heavy development). Head to multipool.fedaykin.us:100/mining_key for a universal mining key and please take note that for the time being, each coin has its own set of ports (if not mining the switcher), the LOWEST port number will be VARDIFF, while the others are all fixed-difficulty slots for miners who have issues with vardiff. I'm usually doing my admin/developer for rent thing but I try to spread the goodwill around by doing a good deed here and there.. I do have an awesome hackintosh setup so I'll see if I can crank out a build for you guys! I'll update ya'll and let you know how it's going!

I will get your pool added to the relevant sites! Hmmm that has got me to thinking, maybe the wallet should have a "where to mine " section XD... If you take a peek at it, it already has most the services listed in there, you can click the images and it opens your browser to the page. And with everything you have going on, thank you so much to take the time to come here and help us out, I totally understand how short time is and I really do appreciate that a lot! So thank you very much... I hope the mac wallet looks similar to the windows counterpart, but I have a horrible feeling it is going to go crazy XD, in which case I will need to made a hackintosh too so that I can debug it. It's only the design, so in the meantime at least mac users will be able to stake! Thanks again edric I look forward to hearing news

I will get you a copy of the conf but unless you are solo mining you won't need one. listen=1 daemon=1 server=1 rpcuser=Some-random-string rpcpassword=Some-random-string rpcallowip=10.1.1.* rpcport=11311 You won't need any addnodes, it has a seednode server hardcoded.
