Well dimfot this might as well be the start, it sure is price wise, we were at 4000 nano-net (satoshis) at one point, now 80-100? I don't even know if it has ever been this low before, but it is known why you see, after we put KGW in and started getting attacked the price crashed understandably, soon as we switch that will be fixed mate... and haha yeah rebolution would be a bit of a change for sure XD But I love their message man, positive music man, speaks to my soul.

i have quit mining netcoin many times cuase of kimoto. it's kinda lazy when retargeting leaving a high diff block to low hashers to struggle for a whole day until a monster jumps back in and rape the shit out of kimoto again

i just introduced a friend of mine to crypto starting with bitcoin and moving on netcoin. he is a linux guy but unfortunately he uses 32 bit not 64. he asked me if he can find the source code on github in order to compile the wallet for his 32 bit system himself. is that possible?
EDIT: ok he found it and downloading sorry for the inconvenience

Dimfot, the problem is not the retargeting, it is the exploit within KGW... Yes there was a fix released soon after, at the time I had no clue how to even compile linux (which now I know is pretty easy). I didn't even know where to begin, also we were not getting attacked so it didn't seem so urgent. Also I was moving house etc... But you see this was my problem, I relied on others too much and when the shit hit the fan no-one wanted to help, course they didn't we were flying and the competition. So... the past months I have been hitting the books and learning what I can, I can now compile on linux and windows, I have learned a tiny bit of C++ but got pretty good at Qt creator as you can see from the wallet, I taught myself how to use it. I intend to keep going too. You see I didn't make Netcoin, I merely adopted it... I was never a programmer, but now I would call myself a novice, I'm getting there. But who stepped up to the plate to help with the more complex tasks. So we're good, we have now fixed it, we kicked KGW out and put in digishield. It will take effect soon as we switch. And cool cool, let me know how he gets on.
