Update for me: It has now been 9 days and only a form response. I contacted Big Vern on Twitter, Tried to contact pr9me and others on IRC, and even opened a new ticket 2 days ago with a link to the old ticket and a reiteration of the problem, and still nothing. I'm a little annoyed.
Totally understand others frustration, I've lost buk from a deposit, xpm from a buy that I never recieved these are from now a week or so ago, many tickets only generic replies, did self audit then lost btc
Hope you all get your coins back and the suspect transactions resolved.
Is there an advantage of keeping coins on an online repository as opposed to your wallet? And what is a 'paper' wallet?
a 'paper' wallet is an offline wallet. Your coins are stored off of the internet in your "wallet" and cannot be accessed by anyone but you. It's like putting something in a safe. The only way it can be lost/stolen is for the physical media that it is on to be taken away. Storing your coins online is good for trading as it allows you to quickly sell/exchange them for other crypto or fiat without having to send them through the blockchain.
Yep, they ignored me too -.- I got a negative balance because some of my open orders were refunded for no reason. As i lost the overview while i was trading i placed another orders... Well, it turned out badly. After they never aswered my tickets i was forced to fix it on my own. I dunno how much money they earned as i paid transaction fees twice and more
I had to start a new ticket 6 days after my previous one which is now 2 weeks old. No resolution, only 1 actual reply saying that the issue was fixed, but it was not. 4 days later, still waiting on a reason as to why I'm short my BTC.
Guys and gals...if you will put in a support ticket, and then get on #cryptsy_support on freenode irc, explain to a mod/give ticket #..It will be solved..
